The Triangle is a place of luxury for Austin’s urbanites where you can live, work, and play.
What everyone knows
The Triangle is located in central Austin, near Hyde Park and the University of Texas.
What they don't tell you
Mandola’s Italian Market is owned by Damian Mandola who together with his nephew Johnny Carrabba opened up the Italian chain of restaurants bearing the same name. They make authentic Italian dishes and pastries as well as gelatto! They also sell Italian products you can’t find in retail or grocery stores in Austin.
Do it like a local
If you like fresh, organic food you should check out the weekly farmer’s market every Wednesday from 4-8pm. There is live music and fun for all ages.
For the History Buffs
The Triangle is aptly named for the large geometric shape it encompasses where Lamar Blvd. intersects with Guadalupe St. north of U.T.’s campus area in central Austin.
The Triangle is an urban complex that offers apartments, townhomes, and lofts in a community that includes its own park and jogging trail. The 22-acre community also features all kinds of retail and restaurants with establishments offering Asian, Italian, Tex-Mex, vegetarian options and much more.
The Triangle Park hosts entertainment such as live music, a splash pad, and playground. You can even play Bocce on one of their two courts. There is also a farmer’s market every Wednesday evening. Your dog will love running around the large grass field. You might enjoy the nature trail that winds around a peaceful pond.
Organic retailer Natural Grocer recently opened its doors at the Triangle. Central Market and the Shoal Creek Hike & Bike Trail are in walking proximity.
