I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. Do it -- you'll be glad you did. More

Tour guide was super enthusiastic (but not too much) and fun to work with. Knowledgeable about the area and easy to work with. A lot of fun!

Joining this biker gang is a must! Tyler, our road captain was so funny, fun and full of energy from the moment he greeted us. He made sure we were all comfortable; he was encouraging every step of the way. He was constantly telling jokes and making us laugh. He kept a smile on our faces the entire ride. The stops on the tour were great too! He toe us a little history/background or the places; we were able to take pics. Overall great experience!

Loved getting to see the different “touristy” spots. Our tour guide got to know everyone and was super fun and enthusiastic, which made the whole trip. Bikes were fun, and cheap for 2 people. Loved it and would recommend to any visitors to Austin!

We had the best time on our bike tour! Our office went for our Christmas outing and had more fun than we even expected! Tyler was our guide and made our trip so memorable. We had a wide range of ages and abilities and everyone was able to learn quickly and feel safe. We had a short visit to Austin and found this bike ride with the gang was the most interesting and fun thing to do. Felt a lot like a small group of bikers cruising the town. Our tour guide Peanut, took great care to help us take pictures, shared interesting facts about the town and overall cared about our safety. This type of excursion is on a our recommend list for all to experience!

I had as much fun as I did the day before in San Antonio with Sean (aka Peanut, ) Rode in a group of 7 plus captain. Can't believe how much fun you can have on one of these. Believe me if I ever get back that way I will be taking another tour. Thanks guys.
