I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. This was SOO much fun! The guides are the best! We had Peanut and Gator - excellent guides and incredibly fun. They take you around Austin, show you some sites, take some photos for you - all while playing some great "biker" music and having a good time. A definite must if you go to Austin!

After finding these guys on the net before leaving the UK we booked three of us in for a 9am tour ( approx 2.5 hours ).We turned up at HQ and were greater by Tyler ,he was extremely friendly, enthusiastic and warmly welcoming , after showing us round the bikes and explaining the controls we were taken to an of road area where Tyler made sure we had control before we went on the road.The tour was fantastic fun, extremely good and a brilliant way of having a guided tour of the city ( with an extremely knowledgeable guide )this is a must do tour that will make your smile a mile wide ,do it or miss out.

Our tour guide was awesome! Very enthusiastic and was knowlegeable about the area. He was funny, and had great charisma :)

We had so much fun on this tour. Pat was a fantastic guide and got us around to what we wanted to see safely and efficiently. A great way to see attractions and murals around the city. They are flexible and can adjust the route to cover what your or your group are looking to explore.The bikes were easy to pick up, and drivers in Austin were largely friendly to our group even as we shared the road with them.

My wife and I joined our biker gang for a tour around Austin while visiting this past weekend. We had a blast! Cope and Joseph were fantastic hosts and guides! I highly recommend this experience-you will see some areas of Austin you might not otherwise experience, all while riding electric powered mini bikes through the streets of Austin!

My sister and her friends were in town for her 30th birthday. We thought this would be a great activity and a good way seeing downtown Austin. I was not impressed with the places we visited but it was still fun. Our tour guide wasn’t the best guide. If you have a large group, you can schedule a private ride. Ask to go to all the popular murals in town. Tip: wear a bandanna. The helmets are gross.

The Biker Gang Ride tour was the first thing we did on our trip to Austin and it was the perfect way to get a feel for the city. Patrick was an amazing guide/personal photographer and really gave great recommendations of things to do and see while in Austin. I felt completely safe on the bike and would highly recommend this tour for people of all ages.
