I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Austin or a local who wants to learn more about the city they live in.

You guys have to check this out!! If you wanna see Austin from a different perspective and ride with your friends, this is the thing to do. The guys are super helpful and knowledgable of the area, have to do this! You'll love it!

We are from Jersey and were in for business, but stayed a few extra days with my girlfriend and cannot say enough nice things about this tour! Tyler killed it! From the minute we walked in to the minute we left it was amazing! Informative, fun and safe ...just go do it!

Biker Gang tour with Cope was amazing. Cope was an excellent tour guide and made the ride around downtown Austin fun. I enjoyed most when we were honking at the people at the bar as they cheered us on. Also, we had a group of motorcycles pass us and they gave us a show which was really cool. We have plenty of pictures that Cope took of us which was a pleasure as well. Lastly, thanks to Cope I felt safe on the bikes and was able to ride smoothly. Definitely check it out if you’re in Austin.

This is a must tour! Forget about walking! Ride in style and and a unique adventure for sure, we enjoyed it.

Rooster was a great tour guide. He customized some places based on my interests, and we covered a lot of ground. Great information along the way. I very much enjoyed it!!

This was a great fun way to see Austin. The guides were really fun and informative. The bikes were a blast and we learned interesting stuff about the city.

We have never been to Austin and ran across this fat tire electric bike tour online. We do a tour every vacation we go on. This was so much fun for the whole family. The guys really went above and beyond what you pay for. Perfect way to see Austin!

I have never ridden a motorcycle or moped- so was a little worried. No need to be worried! They teach you how to ride! Each tour is tailored for the group. We got to see so many interesting pieces of art, parks, and hear stories about interesting buildings. My 12 yr old son and I did this together while on vacation. We had only planned to do it once, but we found a way to fit in a second tour a couple days later! It is the best way to introduce yourself to a new city or see a city in a different way. My friend who has lived in Austin for 10 years didn’t know about some of the history and she saw new pieces of art via my photos from the tour. Worth doing more than once! More
