We had a great time with Patrick on our "biker gang" tour of Austin. He was fun and very accommodating for pictures. We had hoped we would have seen more of the sights of Austin. Much of the tour was through a more run-down part of the city.
Super fun and great way to see the city and learn cool stories about the place. Our guide was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend to others.
We were on our way from Dallas to San Antonio for a trip with our daughter and grandkids when I saw this written up in TripAdvisor. Since the kids hadn't seen Austin, I thought this was going to be a nice way to take a drive break and have some fun. THIS WAS EXCELLENT! We had Jon as our leader and he stopped at a lot of picture places and showed the new stuff, the older part of the city and finally the Capitol building. Everyone in our group (grandparents, kids, grandkids) raved about the ride. Definitely a great place to start if you want to get in character and have some fun. More
It was very fun! I can't wait to do it again. I wish we could've rode longer! Tyler was an amazing guide..full of fun energy which made the ride even more exciting. I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. My mom and I had so much fun with this tour! Patrick was a blast and the tour was like nothing I've ever done. Highly recommend for anyone with a little sense of adventure. Plan on doing it again when I'm in San Antonio, I enjoyed it that much. Give it a try you won't be disappointed!

Such a fun way to see the city! The guides are super-fun and knowledgeable, the bikes are easy to ride, and you get to see Austin neighborhoods both on and off the beaten path. Highly recommend!

I booked this tour for a team builder. We had a great time. The bikes were easy to ride. Our guide 'Rooster' was fun and knowledgeable. After a few minutes of instructions and trial runs we were off exploring the city. Our guide took lots of pictures of us. We even stopped for donuts and coffee. Highly recommend doing this. Much better than segways.
