I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. This is the best way to see the city and feel cool all at the same time!! Much better than Segway tour as you dont feel like such a geek and learn about the city!

Tour guide made it so easy to follow and enjoy the ride. Tour takes you through many points of interest where you can get off and take pics. The elec bikes were so much fun to ride, loved it.

Had a great time bringing teen boys to spend the days with their moms. Boys and moms enjoyed it a lot. Will definitely do it again if we have out of town guests

My wife booked this trip for our visit to Austin. Family of 5. We rented 4 bikes. Wife,Me,18YO,16YO, and I put my 12YO, on the back with me. I ride dirt bikes and Harley’s and thought this would be corney, Wrong! We did a few test runs in the back to get used to the fat tire, and off we went. Hit up some bridges, parks, signs, and several points of interest. It was super cool and our guide was amazing. We would stop at the red lights and he would get off and explain where we are, how it became, and what it’s in for, perfect timing every light. Never asked for a tip and just wanted to know if we had fun. I gave him a tip for all of us and Thanked him, I wish I remembered his name. My family and I talked about all the cool stuff we seen the whole week, and I was super happy to be riding 2 wheels with my whole family. Couldn’t believe that there was no traffic in downtown. Definitely recommend this experience, and book early.

Rooster was a great tour guide. He customized some places based on my interests, and we covered a lot of ground. Great information along the way. I very much enjoyed it!!

Had an amazing time! Rooster was a very knowledgeable tour guide and catered the ride to what we wanted to see. I would definitely do it again and hope that this becomes available in other cities.

It was a blast riding the bikes around town and seeing different sections of the city. Our guide, Pat, was super cool and fun. We were jammin’ along to reggae music. Only friendly note would be... we would have liked to have learned more stats and facts about Austin and fun things to do around town. Thank you for the ride!
